GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — A driver was taken to the hospital after a thief attacked him on Grand Rapids’ West Side and stole his car.
It happened around 9 a.m. Thursday on 8th Street NW and Broadway Avenue. Police say the suspect stole a 2008 black Chevrolet Malibu and led police on a brief chase through Grand Rapids, speeding down US-131’s S-Curve before crashing the car at Arena Place Apartments.
Grand Rapids police said the victim lost some teeth in the attack and was taken to a hospital with facial injuries.
