PARCHMENT, Mich. (WOOD) — A precautionary boil water advisory was issued for a portion of Parchment Thursday following a water main break.
Crews are working to repair a water leak on East Thomas Street, according to a release from the Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety.
The affected areas include:
- Both sides of Thomas Street from Riverview Drive to Elmhurst Street.
- Both sides of Riverview Drive from G Avenue to Elsmere Street, including the Parchment City Apartments. It does not include the Speedway gas station nor Harding’s Friendly Market.
- Both sides of Elmhurst Street from Thomas Street to Glenguile Street, excluding the northwest corner of Elmhurst and Glenguile streets.
- Both sides of Elsmere Street from Riverview Drive to Elmhurst Street.
