DOWAGIAC, Mich. (WOOD) — An Indiana man faces several charges in connection to the shooting of a man during a robbery in Dowagiac Monday night.
The suspect, a 20-year-old from South Bend whose name was not released Thursday, was arrested in Elkhart County, Indiana, and will be extradited to Michigan. He faces charges of conspiracy to commit robbery, armed robbery, carjacking, conspiracy to commit carjacking, conspiracy to commit unarmed robbery, unarmed robbery and felony firearm. If convicted as charged, he could spend the rest of his life in prison.
