President Trump signs resolution to reopen government

Friday night, President Trump signed a measure to fund the federal government through February 15. This bill does not include the $5.7 billion for border security he had previously requested.

Congress approved of the temporary funding plan today after a 35-day stalemate. This ends the longest government shutdown in U.S. history.
