Wyoming school staff learn how to 'Stop the Bleed'

WYOMING, Mich. (WOOD) — With mass shootings dominating recent headlines worldwide, a program to train regular citizens to save lives came to Wyoming Public Schools Tuesday.

Metro Health University of Michigan Health and Wyoming Public Safety teamed up to train 100 staff members from Wyoming’s middle and high schools as part of the “Stop the Bleed” campaign.

Educators got hands-on, step-by-step training on how to stop life-threatening bleeding during an emergency.
