GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — Two people were taken to the hospital after the SUV they were in hit the Pine Rest campus clinic in Gaines Township.
The crash happened around 10:30 a.m. Thursday on the Pine Rest campus at 300 68th Street SE. Deputies say the driver was in the parking lot and stepped on the gas pedal instead of the brake pedal.
Investigators say her GMC Acadia hit the wall of the clinic, causing moderate damage. A 23-year-old and 25-year-old passenger were taken to Mercy Health St. Mary’s Hospital with minor injuries.
Neither the driver nor anyone inside the building were injured.
