HARTFORD TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — Police have identified the man who was killed after being buried beneath cattle feed on a dairy farm in southwestern Michigan.
The Van Buren County Sheriff's office says the man was 35-year-old John Garth Cummings of Middleville.
Authorities say a 30-foot-high corn silage stack, containing high-fermented, high-moisture food fed to cattle, broke loose at about 6:30 a.m. Friday, burying Cummings.
