W. MI veteran turns success into Patriot Promise

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — A West Michigan veteran is looking to give back to fellow veterans through his foundation.

"After my senior year at Michigan State (University), I joined the Air Force, served for six years on active duty and continued my military service over the course of 21 years,” recounted Robert W Taylor, CEO and owner of Alliant Healthcare Products.

Taylor founded the company in 2002. Last year, Alliant Healthcare Products sold more than $80 million worth of items on the federal market.

"I’ve been blessed with success but felt the need to really turn that back into taking care of other people’s success and taking care of veterans,” Taylor said.
