BYRON TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — The Kent County Sheriff’s Office says the shooting death of a pastor near Byron Center is suspicious.
The shooting happened Monday evening in the 1400 block of 68th Street SW, between Burlingame and Clyde Park avenues in Byron Township, north of Byron Center.
Kent County Undersheriff Michelle LaJoye-Young tells 24 Hour News 8 the pastor’s death was originally ruled a suicide, but is now being investigated as a suspicious death.
Authorities are not releasing the pastor’s name.
