Police seek help finding drowning victim's girlfriend

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — Police are looking for a young Lansing-area woman who is upset about her boyfriend's drowning death in Grand Haven over the weekend.

Danielle Dallyz Martinez, 21, is described as a 5-foot-5, 115-pound white woman with brown hair and eyes. She has a tattoo on her right hip that reads "RIP Jose."

She was last seen Monday driving a black 2008 Chevrolet Impala with Michigan license plate DHA6250.

Police say Martinez is distraught over her boyfriend's death and may be suicidal. She may be headed to the Grand Haven area.

Anyone with information about where she may be is asked to call 911 or Lansing Township police at 517.485.1700.

Jeremiah Diaz, 20, of Lansing, died Sunday after going under the water at Grand Haven State Park.
