Summer is on it's way and so is the Grand Rapids Public Library's GR Reads program.The summer adult reading program Kicks off June first and runs through the end of August, and features 10 selected books and 28 free events throughout the summer.
GRPL's Kristen Corrado tells WOOD Radio that the events focus on bringing books to the community.
"We want to create community around books. We encourage people to come to these events whether or not you have read the books just to get to know other people, find people with similar interests, or just talk about the book if you have read it."
