Grocery delivery service launches app, donates to GR charity

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich.  — As grocery and food delivery services become increasingly more popular, Michigan's only organic grocery delivery company unveiled a new app.

Grand Rapids-based Doorganics said its recently-unveiled app will make it easier to connect Michigan residents with locally-grown produce and more. The company isn't just helping people cook fresh meals.

Every week, Doorganics also donates more than 200 pounds of fresh food to God's Kitchen, which is part of Catholic Charities West Michigan.

Mike Hughes, the CEO of Doorganics, said they are donating one pound of food for every app download.
