Report: Detroit Tigers plan on hiring former Twins Manager

The Detroit Tigers have selected Ron Gardenhire as the next manager of the Major League team, according to a report filed by FOX Sports Ken Rosenthal on The Athletic.

The 59-year-old managed the Minnesota Twins for 13 years and won 1,068 games over that span. The Twins won the Central Division six times, including his first three years as the manager.
