Rick Vuyst, host of the Flowerland Show and author joined West Michigan's Morning News to talk about his new book, Operation Rumination. Statistics show that 7.3% of Americans serve their country in the military. As part of the 92.7% who didn't serve, Rick spent a year in a self inflicted "boot camp" physically. He also spent that time listening to veterans and their stories. The result, coupled with Rick's personal reflection, is his latest book.
