1 Several thousand migrants from Haiti, South America, and Central America are making their way north to the southern border of the United States. Mexican law enforcement attempted to utilize a roadblock to stop the massivemigrant caravanin southern Mexico, but the migrants easily steamrolled their way past the large group of officers.
Approximately3,000 migrantsmarched in the southern Mexican city of Tapachula – about 10 miles from the Guatemala border. There are reports that members of the caravan were carrying signs withPresident Joe Biden'sname on them, including one that read: "Joe Biden Is For All."
2 Christiansfrom all over the state gathered at the Hart Commons to pray for the 17 missionaries kifnapped in Haiti.
Sunday, local pastors led the community in singing for the release of the hostages and urged the kidnappers to open their hearts to Jesus.
An adult and four children from the Hart Dunkard Brethren Church were on a mission trip and were reportedly taken after leaving an orphanage on October 16, according to their pastor Ron Marks.
