General requirements

Before you can hook up your phone to a new network, you need to meet a series of requirements. First and foremost, it needs to be a legitimate device. That means it can’t have been reported as lost or stolen, or associated with any sort of illegal activity. Then your account will need to be free of any financial obligations.
