MUSKEGON HEIGHTS, Mich. -- Muskegon Heights Police are investigating after a 15-year-old girl was injured in a shooting early Sunday morning.
The incident happened at the East Park Manor Housing Community around 1 a.m. The teen's mother called police after her daughter was shot in the leg.
She was taken to the hospital but has since been released.
Police are asking anyone with information to contact silent observer.
