Holland’s Hope College is the best private college in state of Michigan and one of the best in the country, that according to a new study.
The Niche Rankings also say the West Michigan Christian college is the best Christian University around, and the 11th best college in America. The study also says they are the best college in the Grand Rapids Metro area and one of the best for student life and education.
In this year’s Michigan higher education rankings, Niche also ranked Hope:
- The “best college in the Grand Rapids metro”
- #3 “best college for student life” and “best college for education” in Michigan
- #4 in the following categories: best college; best college campus; best academics; best college for student athletes; and for business and communications studies in Michigan.
In addition to its #11 spot as the best Christian college in America, nationally, Hope College also ranked:
- #40 “best liberal arts colleges” (out of 181, and surpassing its previous rank of #61)
- #66 “best colleges for chemistry” (out of 593)
- #83 “best colleges for kinesiology and physical therapy (out of 602)
- #86 “best colleges for education” (out of 963)
- #104 “top private universities (out of 914)
- #128 “best college campuses” (out of 1,394)
- #135 “best colleges for business” (out of 1,215)
- #158 “best colleges for performing arts” (out of 521)
- #164 “best student college life” (out of 1,590)
