Holland residents seeing water supply drop in wells amid drought

HOLLAND, Mich. -- Drought conditions are reducing the water supply for people in the Holland area who use wells.

Park Township residents starting conserving water after they noticed a recent drop in supply. Resident Bob Dutmers says they started seeing decreased levels four weeks ago.

Dutmers says they looked into municipal water a few years ago but it wasn't an option due to the cost and the paperwork.

For now, the community is reducing use where they can and hoping for rain.
