Beginning on Monday, the Fruit Ridge Avenue bridge over I-96 will be closed.
The closure will last until December of this year and will include Fruit Ridge Avenue from 3 Mile Road to Northridge Drive. Daily lane closures on I-96 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. are also expected.
However, short closures will begin late Friday night into early Saturday on eastbound and westbound I-96 at the Fruit Ridge Avenue in order to prepare for the major main closures.
