Bronson Mothers' Milk Bank is opening a new location in Cutlerville.
The depot will be located at Corewell Health Midwifery Obstetrics and Gynecology and will make it easier for donors to drop off milk instead of shipping it.
The bank is the only nonprofit bank in the state. All donors have to go through a screening process including blood work and a health questionnaire.
Donors then can ship or drop off milk at the banks where it will be screened and tested, bottled, pasteurized and tested again. The milk is then shipped across the state and country.
