Lane closures will begin on M-37 next week as construction starts on the bridge over the Muskegon River.
Starting March 24 at 7 a.m., lane closures will go into place between Wood Street and Evergreen Drive.
The closures are expected to end by June 27.
One lane will be open in both directions with traffic shifts in place.
The Michigan Department of Transportation says the work will improve the safety of the bridge.
