West Michigan organizations are offering places for community members to drop off old prescription or over-the-counter drugs on Saturday for National Prescription Drug Take Back Day.
All solid forms of prescriptions and over-the-counter drugs will be accepted as well as vaping devices and cartridges with lithium batteries removed.
The day is an effort to removed unused medications from the community to prevent misuse and accidental poisonings.
Syringes, needles and illegal drugs will not be accepted.
