Officials are warning of a dangerous fungal infection that has been reported in Michigan.
As of Tuesday morning, there were no reported cases of Candida auris in Kent County.
The CDC says Candida auris causes infections in the mouth, skin and vagina.
The species can also cause bloodstream infections that are life threatening.
The CDC says 33 cases of the fungal infection have been confirmed in Michigan.
