COVERT (WOOD-AM) - Holtec will try again to get a federal grant through the Department of Energy to restart electric production at the Palisades Nuclear Power Plant in Covert Township.
The plant was purchased for decommissioning after 50 years of service.
Holtec says it will need to hire a company to operate the plant if they're successful.
