ArtPrize will now be led by the city of Grand Rapids, Downtown Grand Rapids Inc. and Kendall College of Art and Design.
The independent organization that ran the competition and festival is dissolving.
DGRI President and CEO Tim Kelly says the core elements will remain the same and they intend to build on the legacy of past events as they move forward.
The competition will still be held in September but the 2023 dates have not yet been announced.
