Suspect sought in SE Grand Rapids shooting that injured a person

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - The Grand Rapids Police Department is investigating after a person was shot while sitting inside their car, multiple times, in the southeast side of the city.

Authorities say multiple firearms were used in the shooting that happened near the intersection of Eastern Avenue and Burton Street around 2:30 a.m. Friday morning.

It’s unknown what led to the shooting, and no suspect description was released.
