ALBION, Mich. - Just after midnight Friday morning, a person who was lying on the train tracks was and killed by a westbound Norfolk Southern freight train.
Albion Department of Public Safety said the person had already died by the time officers were able to check the area.
It’s unclear why the individual was lying on the train tracks, and the person's identity has not been determined yet.
