Misdemeanor Charges for Officer Who Allegedly Fired Gun Unintentionally

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - The Grand Rapids Police Department says one of its officers will be facing misdemeanor charges for allegedly unintentionally firing his gun.

Sources say that the officer will be charged with a count of careless discharge of a firearm causing property damage, but his name has not been released.
