The Big Three 11-30-21

1 The number of hospitalized adults with confirmed COVID cases has reached a new pandemic high as the Michigan continues to confront surging infections.

Right now 4,181 patients throughout the state. That’s 23 more than at the peak last year.

The Federal is sending teams of people to help West Michigan hospitals amid historic staffing challenges created by the federal government itself with Biden’s CMS jab mandate that requires all healthcare workers to get poked or get lost.

6 of those Feds will be working at Spectrum in GR.

2 A Federal judgeblocked Joe Biden’s vaccine mandatefor healthcare workers in 10 states.

US District Judge Matthew Schelp in the Eastern District of Missouri blocked the federal government from mandating Covid jabs for healthcare workers in Missouri, Nebraska, Arkansas, Kansas, Iowa, Wyoming, Alaska, South Dakota, North Dakota and New Hampshire.

Judge Schelp said the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) has no right to hand down rules because they never got approval from Congress.

Schelp also argued CMS did not produce evidence that shows vaccination status has “a direct impact on spreading Covid.”

“No one questions that protecting patients and health care workers from contracting COVID is a laudable objective,” he wrote. “But the court cannot, in good faith, allow CMS to enact an unprecedented mandate that lacks a ‘rational connection between the facts found and the choice made.'”
