GRPS: Vaccinations may lead to fewer interruptions for students

Grand Rapids Public Schools district leaders are excited about the possibility of COVID-19 vaccines for 5-11-year-olds.

Kim Baron, director of health services for GRPS, says she thinks the vaccine will be great for students.

Baron says more vaccinated students will lead to fewer interruptions in the classroom.

The CDC could approve the vaccine as early as next week.
