Metro Health transitioned to officially become University of Michigan Health-West on Monday.
The new name follows the transition for the health system while still emphasizing their commitment to the area.
The system says while there will be visible changes for the hospital into 2022, the patient experience will be seamless.
Patients will not need to change anything to continue receiving service.
