A man has been sentenced to restitution and jail time after he was charged in the downtown Grand Rapids riot last year.
Ronald Raymond of Grand Rapids is sentenced to a year in jail, five years probation and $71,000 in restitution for the damage he caused.
He pleaded guilty to charges of riot, third-degree attempted arson and malicious destruction of fire or police property.
The restitution amount will cover the damage he caused to police cars.
