A Holland restaurant owner is out of jail after ignoring the state's dine-in ban and continuing service after her license was suspended.
Marlena Pavlos-Hackney was released from the Ingham County Jail Tuesday afternoon, after she was arrested on Friday.
Judge Rosemaire Aquilina told Pavlos-Hackney she would remain in jail until she saw proof that her restaurant was closed.
Aquilina told Pavlos-Hackney if the restaurant reopens, she will issue another bench warrant.
Pavlos-Hackney says the pandemic orders are government overreach.
