Three cities receive grants from MDOT to rebuild roads

Kalamazoo, Big Rapids and Marshall are receiving grants to rebuild roads in the area.

The Michigan Department of Transportation awarded the Transportation Economic Development Fund Category F grants.

Kalamazoo will receive $375,000.

The money will go toward rebuilding Miller Road from Emerald Drive to South Sprinkle Road.

The city will pay $400,575, as the project will costs $775,575.
