Although they have disagreed in the past and seem to have reconciled, it appears as if President Trump and Dr. Fauci or at disagreement again. During Thursday's briefing President Trump said he disagreed with Anthony Fauci’s statement that the U.S. does not yet have the testing capacity that it needs to effectively contain the spread of the novel coronavirus as stay-at-home restrictions are relaxed.
When questioned during the briefing, President Trump answered, “No, I don’t agree with him on that. I think we are doing a grab job on testing." Trump made the comments at the briefing Thursday after he was asked about Fauci’s recent remarks in a Time magazine interview.
