Clarksville man ID'd as Saranac car fire victim

BOSTON TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — Michigan State Police have identified the driver who was killed in a fiery crash near Saranac in early September.

First responders were unable to rescue Travis Ryan Tucker, 31, of Clarksville from a burning vehicle after the crash on Morrison Lake Road in Boston Township on Sept 4.

Tucker was driving northbound at a high rate of speed when he lost control of his vehicle near Peck Lake Road, according to MSP. The vehicle crossed the center line, crashed into another vehicle, went off the road and struck a tree. It then burst into flames.
