GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — Thousands of Consumers Energy customers are waking up without power in West Michigan.
Consumers Energy reported a total of 4,721 customers in the state who were without power as of 6:30 a.m. Saturday, with 137 separate outages.
The largest outage in West Michigan is west of Belding, with nearly 1,300 customers without power. There is currently no estimated restoration time.
Below are outage numbers per county as of 6:40 a.m.:
- Ionia: 297
- Kent: 2,692
- Montcalm: 469
- Muskegon: 71
- Ottawa: 174
