Keep your roofs clear to avoid ice dams

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — The week's freeze will be followed by a thaw that could create major headaches for homeowners.

During the winter, ice dams can form along your roof line, which could mean leaks and repairs. 

"The problems are typically going to happen when you get the warm up. Particularly if you get rain with the warm up," Nate Bush told 24 Hour News 8.
