Tips For Surviving This Winter Storm And The Terrible Road Conditions!

Slippery road conditions are expected to impact roads as widespread snow is forecasted across West Michigan.

Most will see around 4 to 6 inches of snow, but some could see 6 to 10 inches or more.

The National Weather Service issued a Winter Storm Warning until 7 p.m. Monday for Allegan, Kalamazoo, Ionia, Kent, Montcalm, Muskegon, Newaygo, Oceana, Ottawa and Van Buren counties. Barry, Calhoun, Branch and St. Joseph counties are under a Winter Weather Advisory.

Sergeant Joel Roon from the Kent county Sheriff Department dropped by West Michigan Live to give an update on road conditions and some tips on what you need to do and have if you're stuck on the icy roads
