Treacherous travel as winter storm hits West Michigan

From our media partner WOOD TV:

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — Slippery road conditions are impacting travel Monday as widespread snow is forecasted across West Michigan.

Most communities will see around 4 to 6 inches of snow, but some could see 6 to 10 inches or more.

The Kent County Road Commission said the major concern Monday is blowing and drifting snow, which will make it hard for crews as they work to clear the roads.
