Poor weather shuts down Detroit Metro Airport

ROMULUS, Mich. (WOOD) — Winter weather grounded all flights at Detroit Metropolitan Airport Tuesday evening.

Blaming snow and ice, the Federal Aviation Administration said the airport closed at 8 p.m. It was expected to reopen at 1 a.m. Wednesday.
