PAW PAW, Mich. (WOOD) — Freezing drizzle is leading to dangerous driving and dozens of event cancellations in West Michigan.

A 24 Hour News 8 crew traveling on I-94 near Paw Paw spotted numerous slideoffs around 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, including several semi-trucks. While the highway remained open, travel was slow-going.

In Kent County Tuesday afternoon, dispatchers were asking drivers to avoid the area of 100th Street between Hannah Lake and East Paris avenues, which was blocked because of a rollover crash.
