GVSU to announce President Haas' successor Tuesday

ALLENDALE, Mich. (WOOD) — Grand Valley State University will name its next president Tuesday.

The GVSU Board of Trustees plans to hold a special meeting at 11 a.m. to nominate and elect the university’s fifth president.

The new leader will take over on July 1 — the day after GVSU President Thomas J. Haas retires.

Haas announced his retirement on Feb. 28, 2018, after 11 and a half years in office.
