Most of lawsuit v. Holland Christian tossed out

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — Four of five claims have been dismissed from a federal lawsuit filed by a former student who says Holland Christian Schools failed to protect her from the teen who raped her.

Claims involving emotional distress, negligence and breach of contract were dismissed because U.S. District Court Judge Robert Jonker ruled they were not federal crimes, the Holland Sentinel reports.
