KALAMAZOO, Mich. (WOOD) — Authorities are searching for the suspect in a bank robbery in Kalamazoo.
It happened just after 10 a.m. Saturday at the Advia Credit Union located at 706 North Westnedge Avenue near West Kalamazoo Avenue.
Authorities said the suspect threw a black bag on the counter and implied he had a gun by pointing his arm out, but a weapon wasn’t seen. He then jumped onto the counter and continued to demand money.
The suspect fled the area on foot with an undisclosed amount of money authorities say he grabbed off the teller's counter.
