Warrant: Murder suspect admitted to shooting man with crossbow

NORTON SHORES, Mich. (WOOD) — A Grant man facing a murder charge in the death of a Norton Shores man admitted to setting up a meeting with the victim before shooting him with a crossbow.

That's according to a warrant sworn out hours before the Friday afternoon arraignment of the suspect, who prosecutors have identified as 20-year-old Nyoky Bull.

Bull is expected in 60th District Court around 2 p.m., where he will be formally charged with open murder in the death of 20-year-old Marcus Olmstead.

Olmstead’s twin brother found his body Wednesday night in the driveway of their family’s home, located in the 3100 block of Leon Street.
