MICHIGAN (WTHR) — A Michigan mother was fed up with her son's oversleeping habits, so she called in for backup.
Crystal Towns says her son, Zachary, spends a lot of time watching television and playing video games.
His late night screen time kept causing him to oversleep and miss the bus.
So when it kept happening, she called the school resource officer.
On that day, Zachary showed up to school in the back of a police car.
"I don't think I should have pushed my mom's limits because that's the 100th time I've done it this year," Zachary said.
"I did what I needed to do," said Crystal. "I would do it all over again and feel good about it."
