Monroe Avenue lane closures start next week in GR

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — The snow may be falling, but construction closures in downtown Grand Rapids are far from over.  

Beginning Dec. 3, workers will temporarily close lanes on Monroe Avenue to move around a crane as part of a $11 million renovation project for Grand Rapids City Hall and the Kent County Administration buildings.

The lane closures will run through Dec. 7.
