Marijuana brownies brought to Wyoming Junior HS

WYOMING,  Mich. (WOOD) — Wyoming officers are working with school administrators to determine who brought marijuana-laced brownies to Wyoming Junior High  School.

The Wyoming Department of Public Safety says school staff found out students had eaten the marijuana brownies Friday.

“Safety  of the students and staff in our schools is paramount and this incident  is being taken seriously,” Wyoming police said in a Monday news  release.

Wyoming  officers say they will not be releasing additional information in the  case because it involves children and the investigation is ongoing. Once  the investigation is complete, detectives plan to send their findings  to the Kent County Prosecutor’s Office Juvenile Division for review.
